Simply attach the clasp to your dog’s harness and snap the buckle into place on the seat, then you’re ready to go!

The strap is made from heavy-duty Nylon fabric to keep your dog situated during fast turns and sudden stops.

If you are contemplating buying a belt buy this one here with the bungee part, which absorbs shocks in case of impact and protects your dogs better than a regular style belt (which are actually quite dangerous - fyi NEVER ATTACH IT TO THE COLLAR, ALWAYS TO A HARNESS, it's very important as it could break your dogs neck during a crash). I have a small 18 pound dog that loves to go for a ride. Problem was he always wanted to sit on my lap when I was driving and it was dangerous cause he did not stay put and was bouncing all over the place. This product eliminated all that. I tried other products and they were flimsy and not strong enough to hold him in his seat. This product was just what we needed to remedy all that. I can even detach the belt and use it for a leash, which is very helpful when were out and about and I forget his leash. I would recommend this product to anyone.

I have a 75 pound Lab mix that I use this on. I had opened the truck door to unbuckle him since we were home, and he tried to jump out with it still attached to his harness - it held him back and he was dangling from the truck!! He had no idea why his feet weren't on the ground. It was hilarious, but also showed that this seat belt would protect/hold him if we were in an accident.

The leash is long enough for the dog to move around on the back seat comfortably. The bungee portion allows the unit to stretch preventing a jerking of the dog in a quick stop. Well constructed unit. Needed one unit but bought 2, one for immediate use and one as a standby for other vehicles. Good value. Great product.
